Example — upgrading mid-cycle
Say you're on Basic ($79/mo) and upgrade to Pro ($199/mo)halfway through your month. You're not charged a full $199 — the unused half of Basic (~$39.50) is credited, and you only pay the prorated Pro for the days left (~$99.50). So you pay about $60 today, your Pro limits apply instantly, and next month you're billed the normal $199.
